At the beginning of the year there were some whispers about a team down south in District 29-5A that could possibility make a run in Region 4. Now those whispers have become yells. Laredo United has started the year 12-2 and has shot up the TABC rankings to #5 in the state after their Lone Star Invitational championship. Head coach Arcacio Ramos' squad took down two of the state's premier teams including former #1, San Antonio Wagner.
