Out-of-state linebacker takes in A&M practice
With the abundance of high school football prospects within their own state's borders, Texas A&M does not have to recruit as much of the country as most other programs. The Aggies usually fill up their classes with mostly Texas players with a few from neighboring Louisiana and Oklahoma mixed in sometimes.
It seems odd, then, that A&M hosted a visitor late last week that hails from Indianapolis. Warren Central class of 2012 linebacker Jordan Wallace spent Thursday on the College Station campus, taking in the Aggies' final practice before the Easter break. It turns out that the 6-foot, 209-pound sophomore lived in the Houston area until he was in 7th grade and has been in contact with the A&M staff.
