Dismuke: 'The Happiest Thing that has Ever Happened to me'
It wasn't long ago that Duncan, Okla. offensive tackle Dylan Dismuke had all but given up his lifelong dream of playing football for the Oklahoma Sooners. The 6-foot-6, 292-pound lineman had publicly stated a final three of Arkansas, Texas Tech, and Nebraska.
Roughly a week later Dismuke picked up a Sooner offer that he'd waited his whole life for and things slowly began to change. As time went on Dismuke reiterated time and time again that he simply had some questions that needed to be answered by Sooner offensive line coach James Patton.
However, at the time of his decision it was nearly impossible for the big tackle not to focus on what it means to be a Sooner fan that would have the chance to play for his dream school.
"It means the world to me and all of that, it's a dream. I'm going to try not to brag about it to anyone else and try and push everyone else to be better," Dismuke said.
