Three's a crowd?
The numbers don't quite add up.
Missouri didn't graduate any running backs following the 2009 season. The Tigers currently have one senior -- Derrick Washington -- in their backfield, and are scheduled to lose one scholarship running back after the 2011 season, and another following the 2012 season.
Sure, there was room for another running back in the 2010 class. Sure, finding room for two would have been easily doable.
But, the football team signed three running backs in last year's class, for a position where -- at the most -- two will play at a time, albeit infrequently.
