Pepperdine transfer has Tigers on top

PowerMizzou.com Since he took the job at Missouri in April, Frank Haith has made no secret that he would look to fill Missouri's roster with some transfers this summer. The Tigers hosted two such players over the weekend. Former Auburn standout Earnest Ross committed to Mizzou on Tuesday. Could former Pepperdine Wave Keion Bell be soon to follow?
Bell, a combo guard, was a high-scorer at Pepperdine, averaging 16.4 points per game in just less than three seasons. He is the 17th-leading scorer in Waves history, despite playing less than three full years. Bell said that Haith, who offered him out of high school when he was coaching Miami (FL), envisions a similar role at Mizzou.
While Oregon had also shown interest, Bell said it was between Missouri and Texas A&M for his signature right now. Bell would have to sit next season and would be eligible to play his senior season in 2012-13.
