An emotional win

T.J. Moe stood back by Faurot Field's north endzone, awaiting the opening kick of Saturday's game against Texas Tech. Missouri's sturdy slot receiver slash return man stood a few yards behind his teammates, the final row of blockers.

Moe was crying.

Sometimes, emotions are flared by struggle. Other times, emotions boil over becaue of strife. On Saturday, the emotions were caused by absence, both an immediate void and a knowledge that, soon, more voids would present themselves.

It was Senior Day, and Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel was not in Memorial Stadium.
