SCOOPHD: Stoops Talks 2012 Class

SoonerScoop.com Following the signing of 25 players from eleven different states a jovial Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops met with the media to talk on the Sooners future superstars.
Part 1
Amongst topics the face of the Sooners program spoke on the return of his brother- Mike- to the Oklahoma coaching staff as well as his staff's recruiting philosophies and practices.

2012 Class Quick Facts
1: Rivals.com ranks the Sooners five prospect receiving class as the top class in the country.
6: JUCO players brought in, in the 2012 class marks the most junior college players signed at one time in Stoops 14-year tenure at Oklahoma.
8: future Sooners have participated in high school all-star games. Ty Darlington, John Michael McGee, Taylor McNamara, Trey Metoyer (2011), Durron Neal, and Derrick Woods were honored as Army All-Americans. While Alex Ross and Sterling Shepard were selected for the Under Armour All-Star game.
7: the state of Texas produced the most Oklahoma signees followed by the state of Florida with four.
