It has been somewhat of a whirlwind for Newton quarterback/cornerback DJ Dean the last two weeks.

He picked up his first Division I offer from Utah, visited the Utes this past weekend, scheduled a trip to visit Tulane, received a visit from Rice and found out the TCU coaching staff is interested in him and plans to visit him.
