Rivals100 safety learning about the Vols
As technology continues to evolve, so too does recruiting and Tennessee has continued to adapt to use modern technology to help themselves. One such example is the use of Skype or Facetime, most recently used by head coach Derek Dooley when speaking with Rivals 100 safety Kameron Miles.
Dooley and Miles spoke last Thursday and the third-year head coach let Miles know the Vols compare him to two former NFL first round draft picks.
"It was nice. It was a fun talk. It was nice. We had a good talk," Miles said of the Skype call. "He talked about school and he and (defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri) talked about and compared me to Mark Barron and Eric Berry and how they used Mark Barron in the scheme used by (Sunseri). He told me I would be in the role Mark Barron had played."
