Back on the road to recovery
Despite having his second straight season cut short due to a senior knee injury, Keelon Brookins's is surprisingly upbeat and optimistic about his future.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound defensive back missed all but game of his junior season at Tartan High School in Minnesota due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus in his left knee. A little over a year later, Brookins, who is verbally committed to play at Wisconsin next year, finds himself in a similar situation.
