Mizzou confirms coaching shuffle
Missouri has confirmed the coaching moves that were first reported yesterday by PowerMizzou.com. In an official release, the University announced that Josh Henson has been named Mizzou's next offensive coordinator and that Andy Hill will move from coaching wide receivers to coaching quarterbacks and also adds the title of associate head coach to his resume.
Henson has been on Missouri's staff for four years, serving as the co-offensive line coach since his arrival from LSU prior to the 2009 season. Hill has been at Missouri since 1996 coaching wide receivers and tight ends over that time, plus a stint as the co-offensive coordinator under Larry Smith in 2000.
Mizzou's release stated that details of the contracts for Hill and Henson are being finalized and will be made available upon completion. Pinkel said a search is underway to fill out his staff with a wide receivers coach, but he has no timetable on the hire.
