NCAA outlines allegations against Haith

PowerMizzou.com On Tuesday night, Frank Haith told the media that he had received a notice of allegations from the NCAA in relation to the investigation into the University of Miami. Wednesday afternoon, Missouri released the correspondence the school and its coach had received from the NCAA.
The NCAA says that Haith "failed to promote an atmosphere for compliance within the men's basketball program" from June 2010 to March 2011. The allegation stems from accusations that Miami booster Nevin Shapiro told Haith's assistant Jake Morton that Shapiro would go public with claims he provided money to a Hurricane recruit (Daquan Jones) unless Morton paid Shapiro. The notice of allegations claims that Haith failed to notify athletic department administration. "Rather, Haith gave Morton funds that Morton then provided to Shapiro."
