Rivals100 DL enjoys visit to Alabama
McGill-Toolen defensive lineman Sidell Corley took another unofficial visit to the Capstone this weekend to watch the in-state rivalry for the Iron Bowl. Corley, 6-foot-4, 250-pounds, arrived in Tuscaloosa early Saturday and left Sunday afternoon.
"I had a great time this weekend. I went with one of my teammates and my dad and I ended up spending the night. We got their early Saturday morning and ate breakfast and I ran into Wallace Gilberry and we hung out and talked for a minute. I knew him well and we wished him good luck," Corley said. "After that we went to the recruiting center and I ran into Nick Gentry. He told me he wanted me to come and play at Alabama with him. I told him I was looking hard at 'Bama. I also talked with Mike (McNeil) and Brandon (Gibson). We just hung out but we talked a little bit about all of us going to the same school.
