Roscoe junior offensive lineman Britt Mitchell said that he would commit Saturday at Texas A&M's first Junior Day of the year, and the 6-foot-8, 300-pound Mitchell did just that.

In fact, when he got on the phone he didn't even sound like a guy who might have a dilemma in choosing a school. Instead he sounded like a player that would be in College Station sooner rather more than a year from now.

Mitchell is the first commit in Texas A&M's class of 2008.
