Williams even higher on Sooners
A few weeks ago Tulsa Booker T. Washington offensive guard John Williams admitted publicly his interest in Oklahoma far exceeded that of most other schools. Williams comes from a family full of Sooners at a school that has always had a strong relationship with Oklahoma, so the reality of his admiration for the school isn't hard to understand.
That being said, Williams' only real time in Norman was during the football camps of the last couple summers. So his time at Oklahoma's junior day was something that he says only added to his thoughts on Oklahoma.
"I liked the campus a lot, I had not really taken a full tour before. We were in the indoor last year during camp, but that was really all I had seen. I enjoyed it a lot," the 6-foot-3, 300-pound Williams said. "The indoor facility was great, the weight room, it was all really cool."
"It definitely improved my opinion of Oklahoma."
