Good news for Oklahoma
It's often said the the Texas Longhorns get whoever they want out of the Lone Star state. But Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners have been trying to put that theory to the test early in the 2008 recruiting season.
Oklahoma already has a verbal commitment from R.J. Washington, arguably the top defensive player in Texas for 2008. But the Sooners also had their sights set on Stephen Good, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle who could also be considered the state's top offensive prospect for 2008.
Good narrowed his list of favorites down to Oklahoma and Texas and today he finally made his college destination known.
"He committed to Oklahoma today," said Paris coach Larry Wheeler.
