More future Cyclones at WDM Valley?

CycloneReport.com The potential Division I-A players in the West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley class of 2008 number three at this juncture. But none are a sure thing according to Tiger head coach Gary Swenson and he's looking forward to seeing what the trio does in the summer and fall to put themselves into position to get I-A scholarship offers. CycloneReport.com went to Valley to talk to Swenson about his top '08 prospects.
Running back Joe Johnson, lineman Jake McDonough and linebacker Justin Ewald will be the core of a senior class that should have Valley in the hunt for a Class 4-A state championship again in 2007. The Tigers came up short of their annual goal of winning it all last season but still got to the 4-A semifinal round. Coach Swenson said none of his top three players are can't miss prospects at this point but he thinks any or all could be I-A players in college.
"I don't think any of these kids are going to be early offer guys," Swenson said. "I think they're going to have prove themselves in summer camps and then have some real good senior film."
