More on Huskers recent commitment

HuskerOnline.com When Nebraska got their surprise commitment from David Whitmore yesterday, it became apparent they really might gotten a real steal out of the state of Texas. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound cornerback from Port Arthur was picked on early last year, but he ended up making teams pay for that mistake. His stats prove it. Last year, he had 54 solo tackles, 36 assisted tackles, 13 pass breakups, and two interceptions.
Whitmore passed up scholarship offers from Kansas State and Oklahoma State to make his early commitment. He was asked if he felt solid about his commitment to Nebraska.
