Jake McDonough was one of the recruits on hand at the Kansas spring scrimmage last weekend. The Iowa prospect has been on unofficial visits to Iowa, Iowa State, and Kansas State. One thing that caught his right away were the facilities.

Kansas was the first school to offer McDonough, a 6-foot-5, 225 pound defensive end from West Des Moines Valley. So he was looking forward to taking his trip to Lawrence.
