Will ISU add to Texan's offer sheet?
College football coaches around the country take great comfort in looking at the deep Texas talent pool and telling themselves, "The Longhorns can't take 'em all." Case in point: Mansfield (Tex.) safety Kenji Jackson. Although relatively unknown among all the talent in Texas, Jackson has quietly amassed four offers and likely has several more coming down the pipe.
At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Jackson is a true safety and is being recruited exclusively for that position by college coaches. Through this past weekend, he had landed BCS conference offers from Kansas of the Big 12 and Wisconsin of the Big 10 plus offers from strong smaller programs like Tulsa and Colorado State. And who else is interested? Texas A&M, Arkansas, Iowa State and Iowa to name a few.
