Dallas commits take the chance to impress
Last weekend Baylor welcomed several top prospects to Floyd Casey Stadium for their mini-camp. Two prospects already committed to the Bears were also in attendance - Dallas South Oak Cliff duo Kydarian Wilkins and Jacquies Smith.
They didn't know if they would make the trip, but after arriving in Waco they couldn't have been happier.
Smith and Wilkins committed to Baylor within a week of one another and have been friends since they were in middle school. The two have always talked about playing college football together and Baylor has offered that opportunity. However ever since they committed there have been questions as to how solid they were. Since committing to Baylor Smith has added offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Missouri, Fresno State, North Texas, and Louisiana Tech, and has been ranked No. 57 in the Rivals.com Texas Top 100.
