Corrigan Powell recently received some good news in regards to his recruitment. The 5-foot-10, 161-pound cornerback from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Texas, picked up his first scholarship offer early in the week. According to Powell, a program from the Big 12 stepped up to the plate with an offer.

Powell, who is also being recruited by Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M and Wisconsin, knew it was only a matter of time before somebody stepped up to the plate with a scholarship offer.
