Johnson taking on new responsibilities
There is no player who has gone to greater lengths to endear himself to Sooner fans than Gilmer, Texas running back Justin Johnson. From his signed letter to Bob Stoops when he committed to the Sooners in early February to his active role in recruiting numerous other future Sooners to join him in his passion for Oklahoma, it's safe to say Johnson has started off on the right foot.
Well the four-star running back gave Sooner fans further reason for excitement this summer as he spent the dog days of summer in East Texas sweating to become as he says; 'bigger, faster, and stronger'.
Johnson says he still hovers around 6-foot-2, and 210-pounds and is now preparing for his senior season for the Buckeyes.
Johnson is currently a member of the Rivals250, and rated as the No. 21 player in Texas.
