Daymond Patterson might win the award for the most thought out way to commit to Kansas in the class of 2008.

In early June, the three-star receiver took a visit to Lawrence. After seeing the things he needed to, he decided he wanted to be a Jayhawk and had a plan.

"I knew I was going to commit to Kansas," Patterson said. "I like to be unique and I decided how I was going to do it."
