It was the first time that five-star quarterback Blaine Gabbert was in Memorial Stadium for the game atmosphere in Lincoln.

This time, Gabbert had a chance to take in the sights and sounds of a night game against the top ranked USC Trojans. Regardless of the outcome on the scoreboard, the 6-foot-4, 226-pounder had plenty to talk about after his trip to Lincoln.

The nation's No. 2 ranked pro-style quarterback by Rivals.com also said that he was impressed with a lot of positives he saw in Nebraska, despite the loss.
