Herman wins a state title

HawkeyeReport.com Future Hawkeye Brad Herman is riding high after winning a state championship with Metamora's 17-14 victory over Morris this past weekend. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Herman, who had 12 tackles in the game, is happy to end his high school football career on top.
Herman, who starts at both linebacker and tight end for Metamora, verbally committed to Iowa shortly after receiving a scholarship offer in October. This weekend, the three-star prospect will head to Iowa City for his official visit with the Hawkeyes.
