Jarboe talks nationally televised commitment
Heading into last week there were rumors of Oklahoma picking up a couple of commitments at the wide receiver position at the pair of national high school all-star games, but the rumors weren't really swirling around Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove's Joshua Jarboe. It shows how much rumors can sometimes count for as the four-star pass-catcher chose to cast his lot with an already star-studded Sooner class.
Several members of the 2008 class joined Jarboe in the Under Armour All-American game in Orlando, Fla. Apparently both Jermie Calhoun and Landry Jones talked up the Sooners to their future teammate.
The chance for those two to show Jarboe what the future of Oklahoma's offense looks like was also a major selling point.
