Defensive lineman Lavar Edwards is the last prospect in the state of Louisiana that the LSU program has a scholarship offer pending for without an answer. This weekend the Desire Street Academy product will be on campus for an official recruiting visit.

Edwards has not submitted himself to an interview in over a month.

"He has put himself on a gag order," Desire Street head coach Mickey Joseph said.
