Desire Street Academy defensive lineman Lavar Edwards ended the suspense Saturday as he has given LSU head coach Les Miles his verbal commitment to be a part of the Tigers 2008 recruiting class.

"He pulled it, he's going to be a Tiger," Desire Street head football coach Mickey Joseph said.
