It may have seemed like it came out of nowhere, but Brenham, Texas athlete Lester Ward made a decision on Thursday that he was going to be changing his commitment from Baylor to Nebraska.

The 6-foot-3, 186-pounder, with his size, can do a lot of things with the ball in his hands. He rushed for around 900 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior. Though he was out with a hamstring injury for a lot of the 2007 campaign, he was still considered a top prospect in the state. On Thursday, after visiting Nebraska earlier in January, he decided that he was going to be changing his commitment and heading to the Big 12 North.
