Ransburg looking forward to KU career
Sean Ransburg's four year run as quarterback at Harrisonville (MO) High School wont soon be forgotten. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete appeared in four state championship games, winning three straight to end his career. As it that weren't enough, Ransburg was named the All-Metro Player of The Year this season. The three-star prospect will also be remembered for being the first player from the 2008 class to commit to Kansas.
Not many Kansas fans knew what to expect when Ransburg, the No. 76 ranked athlete in the class, committed to Kansas back on April 10. During his junior season at Harrisonville High School, the three-star prospect rushed for 1,300 yards, passed for 1,500 yards, scored 33 total touchdowns and captured another state championship.
