Oklahoma OT picks up Missouri offer
With the recent hire of Josh Henson to join Bruce Walker as offensive line coach, Missouri is making a new-found commitment to getting the best linemen in its 2010 recruiting class.
On Wednesday, the Tigers offered a scholarship to Bronson Irwin, an offensive tackle from Mustang, OK. The 6-foot-5, 305 pound- Irwin already has offers from eight schools, including Oklahoma, Alabama and Oregon.
While he doesn't have any favorites yet, Irwin said one school has a bit of an advantage right now.
"I mean, yeah, I'm an OU fan," Irwin said. "I've lived here since before kindergarten, so I've grown up around them. I've been to a lot of their games. And my mom graduated from there, so I'm most familiar with them. They have that advantage right now."
