Ratliffe comes in with high hopes
Going into last season, Missouri's backcourt was a known commodity. Led by Zaire Taylor and J.T. Tiller, the Tiger guards were considered some of the best in the country. But having lost Leo Lyons and DeMarre Carroll, there were plenty of questions about the frontcourt.
While Keith Ramsey peformed admirably, Missouri struggled to rebound and score inside much of the season. The problems were highlighted when starting forward Justin Safford went down with a season-ending knee injury against Colorado. From that point, the Tigers went 2-and-4 and were outrebounded by 8.5 per game.
With Ramsey gone, the Tigers hit the recruiting trail in desperate need of frontcourt help. Enter Ricardo Ratliffe.
Ask any of the Tigers about the incoming class and Ratliffe is the first name they say.
