2008 QB has many options
One of the top quarterback prospects to watch nationally for 2008 is Artesia (NM) signal-caller Landry Jones. The 6-foot-4, 222-pounder led his team to a state title in New Mexico's second-biggest class in 2006 and along the way put up staggering numbers. He's preparing for a 2007 repeat; all while fielding scholarship offers and recruiting attention from around the nation. Duck Sports Authority talked with Jones recently
Jones threw for over 3,400 yards and 45 touchdowns as a junior, which led to a host of honors for the member of the Rivals100 to watch Class of 2008.
"I got first team all-state in class 4A. There's a class 5A that's the biggest class," he said. "We won state this year."
