BOISE, Idaho (AP) Paul Noonan scored 25 points and added four assists to lead Boise State to a 74-61 victory over Montana State Monday night.

Mark Sanchez had 14 points and Kurt Cunningham added 10 for the Broncos (3-1). The Bobcats (1-2) were led by Marquis Navarre with 14 points, Branden Johnson with 13 and Bobby Howard with 10.

Montana State went on a 9-0 run midway through the first half to take a 21-16 lead, but Boise State, behind Noonans 3-point shooting, went ahead 30-26 with 3:45 left in the first half. The teams were tied at 32 at halftime.

The Bobcats opened the second half with a 3-point field goal by Navarre, but the Broncos then outscored the Bobcats 16-2 during the next four minutes to pull ahead 48-37.
