Crook got support from junior center Teeng Akol, who scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting and blocked four shots. Freshman forward George Fant came off the bench to score 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Freshman guard T.J. Price added 11 points, making 3 of 4 treys.

Western Kentucky broke a 35-all halftime tie and outscored the Jaguars 40-31 in the second half.
