The good: Harris is a good athlete who relies on his speed and agility to make plays from sideline to sideline. He relies on quick read-and-react skills to beat blockers to the hole and slip them rather than take them on. He plays better in forward motion than reverse and has shown some big play ability as a pass rusher. The bad: Harris has marginal size and little growth potential, so he will have to play MLB on a team with a big defensive line to protect him. Even still, he may have to move outside. He gets engulfed easily on the inside and washed out too often. He needs extensive technique work to shed blockers better. Despite his speed and mobility, he is raw in pass coverage with marginal recognition skills, instincts and change of direction. The skinny: Harris is an athletic defender with improving instincts and enough athletic ability to make it as a role player and fine special teams performer. He has the talent to make a roster, but his marginal size and athleticism may limit him to a backup role.
