Injured and insulted

It looked like injury was added to insult.

No. 3 Texas (7-0, 3-0) jumped to a 35-7 halftime lead on Saturday night against Missouri (4-3, 0-3), yet there was hobbled starter Blaine Gabbert taking the field for the second half. Gabbert was sacked to end the Tigers' second drive of the half, losing 14 yards and re-aggravating his injured right ankle. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound quarterback stayed on the turf with his knees and elbows supporting his body, as Faurot Field supported his head.
