Rumph impressed with Missouri visit

Two years ago, Lawrence Rumph was a 6-foot-2, 256-pound defensive end coming out of Keller, Tex. In January of 2007, Rumph named Missouri as one of his final schools, and took a visit to Columbia. Eventually, low grades forced him to go the junior college route, and he enrolled at Navarro J.C. in Corsicana, Tex.

Now, in the middle of his final season in Corsicana, Rumph has turned himself into a three-star, 280-pound defensive tackle. He gave a soft verbal commitment to Texas Tech in September, but is still taking official visits. Like two years ago, Missouri is one of his final schools, and he visited Columbia once again this past weekend.
