2012 Superstar Learns About Norman

The past few years Oklahoma has found success recruiting in the state of Missouri in players like Tyler Evans and Trey Millard but it seems that in the class of 2012 they may be zeroing in on a prospect who stands the chance to be one of the state's most highly recruited prospects in quite some time.

That player is Springfield Hillcrest superstar wide receiver Dorial Green and his most interesting aspect is that Green has yet to finish his sophomore year of high school.

The 6-foot-5 206-pound prospect came down to Norman last weekend to see what the Sooners had to offer. Green had been to Norman before but it was his first chance to really see all that Oklahoma had to offer and in particular be around some of the current Sooners.

"I was there watching their scrimmage and stuff like that, and went to hung out with some of the players," Green explained. "They were saying it's a good place to be and how I'll be the kind of guy that could fit into their offense. And it's a good offense and they like throwing the ball a lot and the players were real nice.

"The whole trip went well, I felt like I fit in well with the players."
