Louisville guard an option for Mizzou
Frank Haith has been on the job less than a week at Missouri, but the new head coach for the Tigers wasted no time in hitting the recruiting trail. One of Haith's first stops was Jeffersontown High School in Louisville, KY where he watched shooting guard Tony Kimbro work out.
Kimbro had interest from Indiana at one time, but the Hoosiers have since filled their class. Right now, Morrow said Western Kentucky and Nebraska are on Kimbro the hardest, along with Murray State and a number of Ohio Valley Conference schools. Kimbro will visit WKU next week after the dead period ends. He will then try out for the Indiana-Kentucky all-star game and play in the Derby Classic before making other trips. Morrow said Doc Sadler is trying to line up a trip to Lincoln for Kimbro and that how Missouri proceeds will be a big factor.
