Commitment Analysis: Jeremy Tyler

West Virginia got its first surprise on signing day around 8 a.m. in the morning when a letter of intent from Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King safety Jeremy Tyler rolled through the fax machines at the Puskar Center.

Tyler, 6-foot-1, 200-pounds, had narrowed his recruitment down to West Virginia and Vanderbilt and was considered around a 50/50 shot for the Mountaineers, but ultimately adding him to the group is a major boost for the 2013 class.\
