From the moment Bill Self arrived in Lawrence to take the head coaching position, he immediately made Darrell Arthur a top priority. Arthur was widely consider one of the top players in his class. After a two-year battle, Self got the player he so desperately wanted last week. With five-star point guard Sherron Collins and three-star shooting guard Brady Morningstar in the fold, KU's class is finally complete.
After a two year battle for the No. 3 ranked power forward in the class, Arthur ultimately decided to do what was best for him. However, there were plenty of twists and turns along the way.
