Young Jayhawks defeat Alumni

In front of more than 2,000 campers and spectators, current Kansas Jayhawks faced off against KU alumni in the annual current vs. alumni scrimmage in the Horjesi Family Athletic Center. Wednesday's scrimmage was right on par with past games, as both teams battled on both ends of the court.

Playing for the alumni (red team) were former Jayhawks Aaron Miles, Michael Lee, Billy Thomas, Christian Moody, as well as current Jayhawks Rodrick Stewart, Brennan Bechard and Darrell Arthur.

Wednesday's scrimmage was right on par with past games, as both teams battled on both ends of the court. The game was very physical throughout, particularly an ongoing battle between current Jayhawk , and alumni Michael Lee.

Jeremy Case paced the current squad (blue team) with 16 points, twelve off his points coming off three's. Also impressive for the Blue squad were guards Mario Chalmers and Russell Robinson.

Both players were extremely active on the defensive end, creating turnovers and pulling down rebounds. Their offensive output was equally impressive with both players finishing in double digits.
