Grant is one to watch for in the class of 2008

Over the last two years, while college coaches may have gone to Jacksonville, Fla., Sandalwood mainly to see the likes of Jamar Hornsby and Jacoby Monroe, they left with a favorable impression of junior to be safety/outside linebacker A.J. Grant.

According to Saint head football coach Adam Geis, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound defender will be one of the most sought after prospects in the state next season.

"If you want my opinion, he is already at four and a half stars (out of five)," said Geis. "By the time he leaves here, he will probably be the best all around player I've ever coached."

That is high praise indeed considering he has coached several Rivals100 members over the past couple of seasons.
