Washington weighs in

When you're a highly-ranked prospect in the state of Texas, you have to watch your every move and mind your every word. If you act out in a way or utter words that show favoritism to one particular program, then someone is bound to see it and it doesn't take long for the information to spread like wildfire.

R.J. Washington, the top ranked player in the Lone Star State for 2008, found that out last week. The blue-chip defensive end from Keller Ridge, who has listed Oklahoma and Texas as his top two teams at this early stage, was shown on television doing the "horns down" hand signal along with teammate Chris Perry, a defensive tackle for the 2007 class.
