KU travels to Texas Tech

Back-to-back close games have tested No. 5 Kansas' will to win. Saturday, Bill Self and his Jayhawks (16-2, 3-0) will travel to Lubbock, Texas, to take on Bobby Knight's Texas Tech Red Raiders (13-5, 2-1). Coming of a career-high 23-points, freshman Sherron Collins leads his team against one of the best-coached programs in America. KU takes its show on the road once again in search of a 4-0 start in conference play.

Heavily favored Kansas was supposed to win big, Monday against Missouri, who looked to be outmatched by the talented Jayhawks.

A victory over the rival Tigers was much tougher to come by, however, as Missouri pushed the Jayhawks all the way to the end.
