A&M gains first commit in 2008
In kicking off its 2008 class, Texas A&M headed to Roscoe, Tex., located about 50 miles west of Abilene, for the biggest person in one of Texas' smallest towns.
Offensive tackle Britt Mitchell, all 6-foot-8 and 300 pounds of him, will become the Aggies' first commit of the 2008 class when he goes to A&M this weekend for the Aggies' first junior day.
A&M sent Mitchell a letter a couple of weeks ago and according to Roscoe head coach Wes Williams they wanted him to commit early.
