Quarterback Landry Jones (6-5, 215, 4.7) from Artesia, N.M., is perhaps the most sought after gunslinger in the west. Jones wanted to make his college decision by March and now that the Ides of March have arrived, fans from many schools are on needles and pins waiting for the talented signal-caller's announcement.
"I'm still planning on making my decision in the spring," Jones said. "The decision could be pushed back to April.
"It all depends on if I'm ready to make the decision," Jones said. "We are trying working some things out right now.
"I will fly to Colorado on Saturday," Jones said. "Next week we are on our spring break so I will be able to spend a couple days in Boulder.
"I might still go to OU for their spring game on April 7th," Jones said. "Right now I have a top four schools of Oklahoma, Colorado, UCLA and Oregon.
"After my visit to Colorado, I will be able to the schools in an order a little bit."
