Recruiting diary: Wes Kemp

DeSmet wide receiver Wes Kemp is one of the most hotly pursued prospects in the Midwest for the Class of 2008. Kemp has offers from just about every major school within shouting distance of St. Louis. He has agreed to write a recruiting diary for PowerMizzou.com and Rivals.com to give fans an inside look at the process. This is Kemp's second diary:

This past month started off with Minnesota and Illinois extending offers. Neither of these programs had great seasons, but both showed promise for the future, especially with Juice Williams and the Fighting Illini.

I was supposed to attend the NIKE combine in Chicago, but due to the cold weather, I did not attend. However, I will be in attendance at the NIKE camp at the University of Missouri.

Toward the end of the month, the University of Indiana also extended an offer. They're also a team that likes to throw the ball to their big receivers. A big factor in my college decision will be how fast I can play.
